Eco Start, SA: Booklet

Eco Start, SA is a nonprofit organization founded by Haya, a 10th grader in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Eco Start aims to decrease the annual particulate matter (PM) rates of air and water pollution in Riyadh by increasing environmental awareness via a website, flyers, blog posts, and social media. This booklet explains air and water pollution, especially in regards to the Air Quality Index (AQI) and the pH level and turbidity of water, and also provides recommendations for what people—especially younger students—can do to help. The booklet also references many different companies and organizations such as the Green Riyadh Project that aim to alleviate pollution in Riyadh.
